About the role

What you will be doing.

NexTrium does not operate in isolation. We are part of a broader ecosystem that includes Cardano, SingularityNET, Intersect MBO, WADA, DeepFunding, and a growing network of African technology communities and organisations. As Ecosystem and Partnerships Lead on the founding team, you will be the person who builds and maintains the relationships that expand what NexTrium can do and where it can go. You will identify strategic partners, represent NexTrium in ecosystem conversations, develop grant strategies, and create the conditions for collaborations that benefit both NexTrium and the communities we serve. You will work closely with the founders on positioning, proposal writing, and relationship management across the blockchain, AI, and African technology ecosystems. This role is not about collecting contacts. It is about building relationships that produce real outcomes: joint initiatives, funding opportunities, community collaborations, and ecosystem visibility that translates into users, contributors, and supporters for what we are building. This role suits someone who is articulate, strategic, and genuinely enthusiastic about the ecosystems NexTrium operates in. You understand that partnerships are built slowly and sustained through consistent value exchange, not a single meeting.

What we are looking for

Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships in technology, blockchain, or innovation ecosystems

Strong understanding of the Cardano, SingularityNET, or broader Web3 ecosystem is a significant advantage

Experience identifying, developing, and closing partnership or grant opportunities

Ability to represent an organisation clearly and compellingly in written and verbal communication

Comfort with proposal writing, pitch decks, and formal partnership documentation

Strategic thinking with the ability to identify which relationships are worth pursuing and which are not

Understanding of African technology communities and the organisations shaping technology policy and adoption across the continent

Self-directed with the ability to manage a pipeline of relationships and opportunities without constant oversight

Clear written communication for async remote collaboration

Genuine belief in decentralised systems, community-driven innovation, and the potential of African technology to define its own future
